Delays in business travel: Annoyance and opportunity at the same time
Automated enforcement of compensation claims from business trips
The connection lost, the meeting missed: any delay has the potential to cost a lot of time and cause resentment among travelers. What many people don’t know: in the event of delays or cancellations in air or rail travel, there is often the option of making a compensation claim. Together with our partners Flightright and refundrebel, we have established a convenient and automated end-to-end process to enforce compensation easily and quickly.
The advantages for you:
The basic idea is the same for air and rail travel:
The transport company is usually legally obligated to pay compensation in the event of a delay or cancellation of the connection. In the context of business travel, however, these compensations are very rarely claimed: sometimes due to uncertainty about the exact legal situation, but often due to stumbling blocks in the process. Together with our partners, we offer an automated solution to realize this untapped potential for you.
mor€green - Compensation for air travel
If arrival at the destination airport is delayed by more than three hours, airlines are often obliged to pay compensation under EU Air Passenger Rights Regulation 261/2004. Depending on the flight route, this can amount to up to 600 euros.
Together with our partner Flightright, a selected expert in the field of air passenger rights, we have developed the solution mor€green. With mor€green we cover the complete process of enforcing the compensation claim:
Important: In the case of air travel, compensation is always due to the travelers, regardless of whether it is a private or business trip. For this reason, the involvement of the travelers in the process is legally unavoidable. What at first seems like an obstacle also has good sides: all companies working with mor€green have decided to use the funds for sustainable or social projects and have already received numerous positive feedback from travelers and the workers’ council alike.
Compensation for rail travel
If arrival at the destination station is delayed by at least one hour, compensation amounting to 25% of the ticket price generally must be paid in accordance with EU Passenger Regulation 2021/782. In case of a delay of two hours, the compensation amounts to 50% of the ticket price.
Together with our partner refundrebel we enforce these claims for you automatically! A smooth process that does not involve any additional effort for you.
